Where each category of data physically lives, and how we approach domestic storage requirements for Korean customers.
Account records, authentication, and project metadata are stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) in Singapore (AWS ap-southeast-1). The databases inside your deployed projects run on Neon in Singapore (AWS ap-southeast-1). Files and assets you upload are stored in Wasabi object storage in Tokyo (ap-northeast-1). Request-serving compute runs on Vercel in the Seoul (icn1) region.
Our application layer runs on Vercel in the Seoul (icn1) region, so requests are served from within Korea. The data stores those requests read from are listed above.
Today, personal data is stored on managed infrastructure in Singapore and Tokyo, while request-serving compute runs in Seoul. If your organization requires personal data to remain within Korea, contact us so we can discuss options for a Korea resident configuration for your workload.
We are happy to walk a reviewer through any of this in detail, or complete a security questionnaire. Reach our privacy team directly.
