DontCode credit purchase, subscription, and refund terms
DontCode sells two paid products: prepaid credits used to run AI code generation and related platform services, and recurring subscription plans that include monthly credits and additional platform features. This page explains when and how refunds and cancellations are available for each, in accordance with the Korean Electronic Commerce Act (μ μμκ±°λ λ±μμμ μλΉμ보νΈμ κ΄ν λ²λ₯ ) and Toss Payments / PortOne merchant terms.
Purchased credits that have not been used may be refunded in full within 7 days of purchase, in accordance with Article 17 of the Electronic Commerce Act.
If you have used part of the purchased credit balance, the refundable amount is the unused portion, calculated at the original purchase unit price (KRW per credit). Consumed credits are non-refundable as the corresponding AI computation and services have already been rendered.
Within 7 days of starting a paid subscription, if none of the subscription's included credits have been spent and no deployments have been made on the plan, you may request a full refund of the most recent subscription charge. Once any included credits or deploys have been used, or once the 7-day window has passed, the cooling-off refund no longer applies and cancellation follows the rules in Section 3.
If credits were deducted or a subscription charge was processed due to a verified platform error, system outage, or failed AI generation attributable to DontCode, we will restore the credits at no cost or refund the affected amount in full upon request.
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account billing settings. We follow an end-of-period cancellation model:
DontCode currently offers monthly subscription plans only. If annual plans are introduced, refund terms specific to those plans will be added here.
Subscription cancellations can be initiated directly from your account billing settings and take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests (including 7-day cooling-off, partial credit refunds, and platform-fault refunds) must be submitted via email to our support team. Include your account email, the payment ID or receipt number, the amount requested, and the reason for the refund.

If you believe a charge on your account is incorrect or unauthorized, please contact us first so we can resolve the issue quickly. If you file a chargeback with your card issuer before contacting us, your account may be temporarily suspended pending resolution. We cooperate fully with card issuer investigations.
Korean consumers are protected under the Electronic Commerce Act (μ μμκ±°λλ²), which provides the right to withdraw from a contract within 7 days of purchase, subject to statutory exceptions for digital goods that have been used or consumed (Article 17). For continuous-service contracts (κ³μκ±°λ), consumers also retain the right to terminate ongoing service. DontCode honors these rights in full: unused credits within 7 days are fully refundable, untouched subscriptions within 7 days are fully refundable, and any subscription can be cancelled at any time with access continuing through the end of the paid period.
