Setup steps

    Sign a contract with Eximbay

    Apply for online payments with Eximbay at eximbay.com. PortOne connects to Eximbay’s new module (신모듈), so ask for that one.

    Note what Eximbay sends

    Once the contract is done, Eximbay sends your 상점아이디 (merchant ID) and API Key.

    Add a live channel in PortOne

    In the PortOne console, open 결제 연동 → 연동 관리 → 채널 관리. Switch the mode to 실연동, pick 엑심베이 and its payment module, and click 다음. Name the channel, enter the 상점아이디 and API Key, choose 과세구분, and save.

    Copy the channel key

    The channel shows in the list with its channel key, starting with channel-key-. Copy it.

    Paste it into DontCode

    In your project, open Payments → Connect → More payment methods. Paste the channel key into International channel and click Connect.

Which payments use this channel

A checkout priced in a currency other than Korean won uses it. Prices in won keep using your Payment channel.

Buyers abroad are asked for their name and email

Eximbay needs the buyer’s full name and email, so checkout asks for them.

Overseas cards are for one-time payments.
