New Features

• Learn DontCode with courses and certificates. Three learning tracks, Builder, How Apps Work, and Backend, now take you from idea to first build, through data, payments, users, and custom domains, with quizzes, a timed final exam, and a shareable certificate for your public profile. Lessons open guided tours that point to the right spot in your editor, and hands-on checks confirm you really did the task in your own project.
• Your app now protects what it already does. Every project gets a Features page that lists what is planned, being built, and built, along with plain-language checks describing what each feature guarantees. Insight warns you before a change would break one of those guarantees, a build that fails its checks is marked "Not shipped" with an explanation and an email, and the live preview tells you when a build is being checked and when a new version is ready to reload.
• Real photos and video in your app. Layouts can now include hero images, hero videos, and item pictures from your asset library, and the design directions you are offered when describing a new app come with licensed photos that fit your product. Ask Insight to add matching photos and it will.
• A new template picker. The Templates section now opens a popup where you can browse templates, see details like colors and fonts, and tweak them before applying a style.

Improvements

• Insight is smarter. Insight now builds and edits your app with a newer, more capable AI model.
• A steadier start for new apps. The Create button now waits until Insight has drafted a plan with features, your chosen design direction is shown in the conversation and remembered, and a failed creation explains why. Insight also replies in the language you wrote in, even when your idea is about a Korean business.
• Insight has a face. Wherever Insight is working for you, you now see its animated mascot, and buttons and menus across the app use icons that say what they do instead of a generic sparkle.

Bug Fixes

• Small things that got in the way. The while-you-wait game no longer appears before your first build finishes, opens twice, or shows up for teammates who did not start the build. Opening the Database tab on a project without a database no longer shows an error, the credits counter and theme toggle look right again, and asking Insight to write your template's listing details now reliably fills them in.

What's New — September 25, 2026

New Features

• See how DontCode stacks up. New side-by-side comparison pages show how DontCode measures against Lovable, Bolt, Bubble, Imweb, and Cafe24, in English and Korean. You can reach them from the pricing page, the security scan, and the site footer.
• Security scan reports land in your inbox. When a security scan you requested finishes, the full report is emailed to you automatically. The free scan is now also linked from the site footer.

Improvements

• Watch weak foundations fail. The building demo on the "Why infrastructure" page now plays a full round on its own as you scroll to it, with an x-ray view, a live scoreboard of lost sales, leaks and downtime, and a Replay button. It also works properly on phones and when you resize your browser.
• Smoother navigation. The desktop sidebar now expands in place to show a group's pages so your content stays visible, menus open with smooth animations, and on phones the bottom bar no longer hides side panels or the chat box.
• Your profile shapes your setup. Profile questions are now written in plain language with a reason for each one, and your answers about team size and domain ownership preset your invite forms and domain setup to match.
• Better games while you wait. Every minigame got a visual refresh: 2048 tiles glide and pop, bricks shatter and show your points in Breaker, cleared rows flash in Insight Blocks, Snake draws a smooth connected snake, and the birds in Run finally look like birds.

Bug Fixes

• A calmer project chat. Short conversations now sit right above the message box instead of floating to the top, suggested prompts stay out of the way while Insight is still replying, and planning a new app no longer shows the same reply twice before the Create app button appears.
• Breakout no longer crashes on narrow screens. The minigame runs reliably on phones while you wait for a build.

What's New — September 18, 2026

New Features

• AI-suggested color palettes. Describe a mood, enter a brand color, or ask for variations on your current palette, and the AI proposes complete color schemes with readable text contrast guaranteed. Apply one with a click, undo in one step, and the theme editor now shows every color your project defines, with derived colors updating automatically and custom colors surviving a preset switch.
• Email when your build is ready. If you step away from the editor while a build runs, you get one email when it finishes, with a card showing the project's name, screenshot, and a link straight to it. You will not be emailed when you are already watching it land.
• Free security check for any AI-built app. Paste the address of an app you built with any AI app maker and get a deep scan of where it is exposed, with a shareable report and the full results sent to your inbox. An interactive demo lets you send customers, a storm, or a hacker at two apps and watch which one holds up.
• Undo and redo in the app editor. Cmd/Ctrl+Z and Shift+Z now step backward and forward through your changes, whether you are working in the editing panel or the preview.
• Drafts you can actually manage. The home page now switches between My Projects, Community, and Drafts with tabs above the grid, and drafts appear as a full searchable grid with a preview of each one's design. Starting a new idea confirms first and tells you where your current draft is saved, and a new Switch drafts option lets you jump between open drafts without losing your latest edits.

Improvements

• A clearer project editor. The sidebar is now a rail of section icons that open their pages on click, with a separate panel for each page's chat, help, or sub-navigation, so navigation and tools no longer compete for space. The database section is split into Schema, Data, and Enums pages, the design panel groups templates, colors, typography, corners, and feel together, and the Users, Team, Design, Growth, and Deploy pages share one consistent layout.
• The editor works properly on your phone. A labeled bottom bar moves you between sections, the page editor opens in the same side panel as everything else, pages run edge to edge, and nothing hides behind the navigation bar or the rounded corners of the screen anymore. Creating a new app no longer pulls you out of the chat while the plan is being written; the matching tab glows so you can switch over when you are ready.

Bug Fixes

• Email links and team invites now land where they should. Links in emails open pages that exist, in your own language, and the sign-in button on a team invite page opens the sign-in dialog so you can accept without hunting for another way in.

What's New — September 11, 2026

New Features

• See exactly where you stand on your plan. Every project now has a Usage page, one click away in the side navigation, showing how much of each limit you have used, which ones are close to running out, and when requests were slowed down. You can step back through past billing periods, see every request budget for each service, and ask Insight directly whether you are near a limit.
• Change your app's fonts by asking. Ask Insight to swap your app's fonts during a build and the change shows up in your Design panel right away. Project setup now offers more font pairings with distinct personalities, and every design preset comes with a pairing that matches its look.

Improvements

• Pick a design faster when starting a project. Design options now appear as ready-made layouts filled with your own copy, and you can browse the whole template gallery to choose one. Small refinements by chat, like renaming a button or adjusting colors, update instantly without rebuilding the preview.
• Feature requests in chat are easier to follow. Each request now appears as a compact card with a plain-language title the moment you ask, shows a gentle shimmer while Insight is working, and links straight to the build once it is applied. Builds also appear in your Builds list with a readable title right away, and you can open a link to a single build and jump back to the full list in one click.
• Korean text looks right everywhere. New apps default to a cleaner Korean-friendly font, design previews render Korean in a matching font instead of the system fallback, and font names and type samples in the Design panel now display in the actual font.
• Every color palette stays readable. All built-in palettes now have legible text on every surface, and design previews avoid made-up statistics so they look less generic.

Bug Fixes

• Plan changes take effect immediately. Changing your plan now applies the new request limits to your app right away instead of waiting for them to catch up.
• Manually added users count toward your limit. Adding users to your app by hand now correctly counts against your plan's user limit instead of letting you exceed it unnoticed.

New Features

• Play while you build. While Insight builds your app, you can play eight minigames (Insight Bird, Insight Run, Snake, Blocks, Breaker, 2048, Pairs, Stack) and shuffle between them instead of watching a progress bar.

Improvements

• Your projects come first. Once you have projects, your home page shows them at the top instead of marketing sections.
• Shorter, plainer text everywhere. Pages across the app and the public docs now use simple language and skip the long explanations and insider jargon.
• Insight is smarter about sign-in requests. Ask for a forgot-password page and it tells you password recovery is already built into your sign-in form instead of building a duplicate; it also handles requests to skip login or go without accounts sensibly.

What's New — August 28, 2026

New Features

• The editor now adapts to you. The first time you open a project, two quick optional questions let the editor tailor itself: your project menu opens with a "Start here" group of the pages most useful to you, the AI explains things at your experience level, and the dashboard surfaces templates that fit the kind of app you are building. You can review, change, or remove every answer from your profile page at any time.
• See errors from your live app. Analytics now shows the errors your published app has reported, with search, time windows, and details for each one, kept for 30 days.

Improvements

• Backend Projects on every plan. Bring-your-own-code projects no longer require a paid plan, so anyone can connect their own code to DontCode's services.
• One place for your app's look and feel. The Design System editor now lives in Branding with colors and styles together, a new slider-based color picker, and font changes that go straight to your live app. The save button now reads "Save to live app" so there is no guessing, and the email brand color picker can pull your theme colors in directly.
• A sharper AI assistant. Pro and Enterprise plans now get a more capable model in the app-building and idea chats, and the assistant across all plans answers faster with guidance that matches what you actually see in the editor.
• Clearer credits and plan limits. AI requests are now billed at the rate of the model that actually handled them, so lighter tasks cost fewer credits. The assets page shows your storage usage against your plan, and the scheduled jobs page shows how many jobs your plan includes.

Bug Fixes

• Chat scrolls all the way down. Conversations now scroll to the end of the latest reply, so the last lines are no longer hidden behind the message box.
• Sent emails display correctly. Expanding an email in your sent-email log now shows the full message body with proper formatting, including in dark mode.

What's New — August 21, 2026

New Features

• Bot protection for your app's sign-in. You can now require a bot check (CAPTCHA) on your deployed app's sign in, sign up, and password reset screens to block automated abuse. Flip one switch in your Auth settings and the platform handles everything; no accounts, keys, or setup needed, and it stays off until you turn it on.
• Branded customer emails. You can now customize the emails your app sends to its customers, like payment receipts, subscription notices, and refund confirmations. The new Email tab in your project's Branding section lets you set a sender name, logo, brand color, footer line, and reply-to address, complete with a live preview. Available as a plan upgrade; without it, emails still send using your project name and the default design.
• Automatic outage notices on your live app. If our platform ever has a confirmed outage, your live app can now show visitors a short, professional notice with a link to a public status page. It only appears during a real outage, matches your app's design, and can be turned off any time from the Deploy page with changes taking effect in about a minute.

Improvements

• AI actions now cost fewer credits. We lowered the pricing rate applied to AI usage from 20% to 5%, so the same work uses up less of your credit balance.
• Billing emails always reach your customers. Receipts and payment notices sent to your app's customers no longer count against your project's regular email sending limits, so they always go out.
• A chat box that stays with you. The Insight chat input now stays in view while you scroll, so you can send your next message without hunting for the composer.
• A more detailed status page. Our public status page now gives a more nuanced picture of platform health, so you can see exactly what's running smoothly at a glance.
• Never lose an idea you're exploring. When you're sketching out a new app idea without being signed in, you'll now see a friendly reminder at the design step that signing in saves your idea to your account, so you can pick it up later right where you left off.
• Clearer wording everywhere. We polished button labels and instructions across the app, including account, billing, project setup, and sign-in pages, so directions are easier to follow in both English and Korean.
• Times that match your clock. Blog posts and the public status page now show dates and times in Korean Standard Time, with a compact UTC reference on incident timelines so readers anywhere in the world can follow along.
• More helpful activity logs. The activity log for auth settings now tells you exactly which setting was changed, instead of showing a generic entry.

• Insight points you to the right place. Asking Insight about password rules or MFA now takes you directly to the correct settings page.

What's New — August 14, 2026

New Features

• Follow your build step by step. Build progress now shows as a live checklist of plan steps: the current step expands automatically to reveal each action as it happens, finished steps tuck away neatly, and the list uses more of your screen so you can follow along without extra scrolling.
• Featured posts on creator profiles. Creator profile pages now spotlight featured blog posts in a special card above templates, complete with a "Featured" badge, category, and publish date, available in both English and Korean.

Improvements

• Faster AI responses. Chat with the AI now starts responding sooner, since the assistant remembers its setup between messages instead of starting from scratch each time.
• Stronger sign-in protection. On top of existing per-account limits, your apps now automatically block suspicious sign-in attempts by source and detect attacks spread across many accounts, and our public security documentation has been updated so you can share an accurate picture with clients and reviewers.
• Easier design picking. You can now choose a design direction by clicking anywhere on its card, cards highlight on hover so it's clear what you're about to pick, and switching to a different direction after applying one is a clear, obvious button.
• Tell your tabs apart. Browser tabs now show your project's name and the section you're in, and new apps update the tab live as soon as they have a name, making it much easier to juggle several ideas at once.
• Clearer integration docs. Feature documentation now explains integrations in plain language, including a friendlier description of how your saved service keys stay encrypted and how outside services work in your live app.
• A cleaner homepage on phones. The mobile homepage now shows a couple of quick prompt ideas instead of a crowded row of suggestions, for a calmer first impression.
• A more helpful footer. The site footer has been redesigned with links organized into Product, Resources, and Legal sections, including a quick link to check DontCode's live service status at any time.

What's New — August 1, 2026

New Features

• Design your app before it's even built. The project creation flow now includes a Design section where you can shape your app's look while you chat through your idea: pick design directions, fine-tune your primary, background, text, and accent colors, and watch template previews update live as you make changes. Your design draft is saved safely on your device and carries straight into the project editor when your app is created.
• Refine your design in plain language. While previewing a design during project creation, you can now chat with Insight to request changes like "make the hero full width" and watch the preview rebuild live. You can also expand the preview into a larger view with zoom, pan, and keyboard shortcuts to inspect every detail up close.
• Start from a community template. When creating a new project, you can now pick from templates made by fellow DontCoders, shown right alongside the AI's suggested design directions, and apply one to your project with a single click.
• Add elements by hand in the visual editor. A new insert palette lets you place ready-made building blocks like buttons, text, images, and sections exactly where you want them, and Insight understands anything you add so you can immediately ask it to build on your work.
• The DontCode Desktop app is here. Download it now for macOS, Windows, and Linux, free and with no account needed. The download page highlights the best version for your device, and a new page previews our upcoming mobile app too.
• Keep your app on the latest engine. The editor now tells you when a newer version of the DontCode app engine is available so you can update with one click, and every deployed project automatically receives the latest improvements once a month, even if you haven't touched it recently.
• A new home for everything billing. Your plan, credit purchases, usage, and payment history now live together in one Billing hub with easy tabs, including a new Usage tab that shows exactly how your credits are being spent.
• Learn the editor with guided tutorials. Step-by-step walkthroughs now highlight the editor's tools and show you how to use them, available in both English and Korean, and the editor remembers which ones you've already completed.
• Delete your account on your terms. You can now delete your DontCode account right from your account page, with a 30-day grace period, a clear banner showing the exact date, and one-click cancellation if you change your mind.
• Email updates that keep you in the loop. You now receive email receipts for credit purchases, subscription renewal notices, team invitations, invite acceptance notices, and confirmations and reminders throughout the account deletion process.

• Every build finishes, guaranteed. Once a build starts, we always complete it in full, even if it takes your balance below zero. You just settle up before your next build. The credits page now explains this promise clearly.
• Live status banner on project pages. If we're experiencing a known issue, you'll now see a banner right inside your project so you're never left guessing.

What's New — June 19, 2026

New Features

• A dedicated Editor view, with Chat one click away. Opening a page now drops you straight into the Editor (page picker, undo and redo, and the property panel) instead of jumping into chat. Switch to the Chat tab whenever you want to talk to Insight about your edits, and your live preview and unsaved changes stay intact as you move back and forth.
• Bookmark and share any page in your app. You can now link directly to a specific page inside your project's app editor, and the browser back button takes you to the page list instead of all the way out to the dashboard.
• Delete your own chat messages. Clear both your message and the assistant's reply in one step to tidy up a conversation as you go. Removed messages stay out of your view but remain available to support if you ever need help.

Improvements

• A clearer to-do list for your build plan. The project planning page is now "Job History" with a cleaner layout and clearer status groups (Planned, Requested, Built, Abandoned), so you can see what was built and what's coming next at a glance. Insight stays in sync with this list when it answers questions or makes suggestions.
• Auth settings stay stable before setup. Sign-in options, invites, sessions, audit log, and analytics now show a clear "auth not set up yet" message instead of erroring out when a project has not enabled authentication yet.
• Live preview follows you as you navigate. The editor keeps your project loaded when you switch between the app overview and individual pages, so you no longer see the "Analyzing" loader every time, and page URLs stay in sync for easy sharing.
