The people who use your app
See everyone who has an account in your live app: how they sign in, their role, whether they have confirmed their email, and when they were last active. Change a role, sign someone out on every device, pause or remove an account, add someone yourself, or let your emails reach a person again after one bounced.
Where to enable it
Find it in your project editor. No code required.
Inside the editor, head to Auth.

User roles & custom claims
Sort the people in your app into roles, such as customer, staff or admin, so each one sees and does only what fits. Pick the role new people get, decide which roles people can choose themselves, and store extra details like a company name on every account. Having more than one role depends on your plan.
Inviting end-users to your app
Let a specific person in, even when sign-up is closed: add their email, pick their role and how long the invite lasts, then let them know. When they sign up with that email they get in with the role you chose. You can also create an account for someone yourself.
Activity
See everything that happens to your live app in one place: who changed your data and how, who changed people's roles or access, and when your users sign up and sign in. Open any customer to see their full story. Every plan keeps the whole history; how far back you can look depends on your plan.
How long people stay signed in
Choose how long your users stay signed in before they need to sign in again. It starts at 30 days and can be as short as an hour or as long as a year. If something looks wrong, sign everyone out at once: within a minute, every device asks them to sign in again.
