Booking reminder email
The day before each booking, the customer gets a friendly email with the time, the place and a button to change or cancel, so fewer people forget to show up.
The problem this solves
A no-show is an empty chair you could have filled. Most people don't mean to miss a booking; they just forget. Contacting everyone by hand the night before takes time you don't have.
What you end up with
Every evening at 6 PM, everyone booked for tomorrow gets an email with their time, what they booked, your address and a button to change or cancel. A cancellation frees the slot right away, and you see it in your bookings.
How it works
- Every evening at 6 PM, in your own time zone, the reminder starts on its own.
- It finds tomorrow's bookings that are still on.
- Each customer gets an email with the time, what they booked and where to find you.
- A button in the email lets them change or cancel; a cancelled slot opens up again.
- Nobody gets the same reminder twice.
Build this in your app
Insight asks a few questions first, so it fits your app.
Built from
Scheduled jobs (cron)
Scheduled jobsMake something happen on a schedule: every hour, every Monday morning, the first of the month. Pick when in your own time, say what should happen in plain words, and DontCode writes and runs it for you.
Transactional email
Email & pushEmail just works. Your app already sends sign-up codes, password resets and payment receipts, and any email your features need, like an order confirmation or a weekly summary, is added for you. There is no mail server to set up, and if your app speaks more than one language, each customer gets their emails in theirs. The Emails page shows what was sent and lets you put your brand on customer emails. If an address bounces, your app stops emailing it, marks that person on the Users page, and lets you send to them again once they fix it.
Forms
App servicesNeed a contact form, a booking form or a survey? Describe the fields and the page it belongs on, and Insight builds it. Submissions are saved in your database, where you can browse them, and you can get an email each time someone sends one.
Data, your live rows like a spreadsheet
DatabaseSee and edit your app's real data like a spreadsheet. Open tables side by side in tabs, search and filter them, and fix a value in place. Changes wait until you press Apply, then all of them are saved or none are, so your live data is never left half-edited. Every row keeps a history of who changed what, and you can download any view as a CSV file. Removing someone from your list of users also removes their account, so only owners and admins can do it.

Tomorrow's bookings, the evening before
Every evening, you and your staff get tomorrow's bookings and pre-orders in one email, in time order, so prep starts on time and nobody is surprised.
Pre-orders with a deposit
Customers reserve a cake, a catering order or a table and pay a deposit in the app with card, KakaoPay, NaverPay or Toss. You see every pre-order on one page, with the deposit already in.
Review request after a visit
The day after an order or a visit, the customer gets a short email asking how it went. Good reviews show on your site once you approve them; unhappy ones come straight to you.
