Platform

Cross-cutting platform concepts, preview, credits, support.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your DontCode account any time from the account deletion page. You get a 30 day grace period to change your mind, and nothing is charged again after you ask to leave.

Key-value store (shared temporary state)

One shared place for the short-lived information your whole app needs to agree on, like login sessions, one-time codes, game lobbies, or a live 'who is online' list. Every copy of your app sees the same data the moment it changes, it can expire on its own, and there are no servers for you to run. For anything that must be kept permanently, use the database.

Contact support

If something is broken or unclear after you have explored the editor and asked Insight, contact the DontCode team at https://www.elijahstorm.com/contact.

Creating a new app (/new)

Describe your idea and watch your app take shape: while you chat, a side panel fills in with your plan, design directions you can preview and pick, and any files you attach. Your work saves as a draft automatically, so you can leave and pick up right where you stopped, even on another device. Started from a template? It arrives preselected as your design. When you are ready, one click creates your real app with your plan and design built in.

Credit-based pricing, how billing works

DontCode offers monthly membership plans plus one-time credit purchases. Credits are spent as you build, AI generations, DB edits, and deploys are metered, and they never expire. Manage your plan, buy credits, and view usage in the Billing area. Pay with KakaoPay, card, or bank transfer.

How the editor tunes itself to you

You can tell DontCode two things about yourself: who you usually build for, and how you would describe your own background. The editor then puts a short "Start here" list at the top of your project menu, adjusts how much it explains as you go, and orders templates to suit you. Both questions are optional and you can change your answers at any time.

Changing what we know about you

Open the Personalization section of your profile page to change any answer. Each change saves the moment you make it, and you can switch an answer back to "prefer not to say" and back again as often as you like.

Turning personalization off

The Personalization section of your profile page has a "Remove all of my answers" button. After that the editor works exactly as it does for someone who never answered: no pinned list, standard wording, standard template order. Declining never limits what you can do or build.

Photos and video, licensed for your app

Your app can show real photography from day one. Design directions come with photos that fit your product, and the one you pick becomes part of your app, credited properly on its own page. Later, just ask Insight for more photos and it adds a matching set.

Preview panel, see your app live

Click PREVIEW in the top-right of the header to open a live preview of the app. Three tabs at the top of the preview panel: Preview (live view), Visual Editor (design mode), Code (build log). Drag the divider to resize.

Realtime (live updates, chat, presence)

Add live features that update the moment something changes, with no refresh, like chat, typing indicators, a live 'who is online' list, and instant notifications. DontCode runs the live connection for you, so there is nothing to set up or keep running.

Status notice banner, known issues

If you see a colored banner at the top of the editor, the DontCode team has already spotted a temporary platform issue and is fixing it. It affects everyone, not just your project, and nothing on your end is broken. The banner disappears as soon as the issue is resolved.
