Review request after a visit
The day after an order or a visit, the customer gets a short email asking how it went. Good reviews show on your site once you approve them; unhappy ones come straight to you.
The problem this solves
Happy customers rarely write reviews unless asked, and unhappy ones go somewhere public. A quick, well-timed ask fills your page with real words from real customers, and brings you the complaints first, privately.
What you end up with
A day after each paid order or finished booking, the customer gets an email with a star rating and a box for a few words. Every review waits for you on a page only you can open; the ones you approve appear on your site.
How it works
- Every morning, it finds yesterday's paid orders and finished bookings.
- Each customer gets one short email: how was it, with stars and a box to write in.
- Reviews arrive on a page only you can open.
- The ones you approve show on your site; the rest stay private.
- Each customer is asked once per order, and never if they turned these emails off.
Build this in your app
Insight asks a few questions first, so it fits your app.
Built from
Scheduled jobs (cron)
Scheduled jobsMake something happen on a schedule: every hour, every Monday morning, the first of the month. Pick when in your own time, say what should happen in plain words, and DontCode writes and runs it for you.
Transactional email
Email & pushEmail just works. Your app already sends sign-up codes, password resets and payment receipts, and any email your features need, like an order confirmation or a weekly summary, is added for you. There is no mail server to set up, and if your app speaks more than one language, each customer gets their emails in theirs. The Emails page shows what was sent and lets you put your brand on customer emails. If an address bounces, your app stops emailing it, marks that person on the Users page, and lets you send to them again once they fix it.
Forms
App servicesNeed a contact form, a booking form or a survey? Describe the fields and the page it belongs on, and Insight builds it. Submissions are saved in your database, where you can browse them, and you can get an email each time someone sends one.
User roles & custom claims
AuthenticationSort the people in your app into roles, such as customer, staff or admin, so each one sees and does only what fits. Pick the role new people get, decide which roles people can choose themselves, and store extra details like a company name on every account. Having more than one role depends on your plan.
Data, your live rows like a spreadsheet
DatabaseSee and edit your app's real data like a spreadsheet. Open tables side by side in tabs, search and filter them, and fix a value in place. Changes wait until you press Apply, then all of them are saved or none are, so your live data is never left half-edited. Every row keeps a history of who changed what, and you can download any view as a CSV file. Removing someone from your list of users also removes their account, so only owners and admins can do it.
